By playing Squid Words in your browser you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

The game

• Squid Words is free to play. Literally Games Ltd may change, pause or stop the game, its puzzles or its features at any time, including moving progress or ending the web version.
• Your progress is stored only in your browser. We can't restore it if you clear your browser data, switch browser or device, or use private browsing.
• Daily puzzles change at 06:00 your local time. Puzzle numbers may be reset or renumbered when the game is updated.

Hints and ads

• Hints may be free or offered in exchange for watching an optional ad. Hints have no cash value and can't be transferred.
• If no ad can be shown, you may receive the hint anyway. Don't use automated tools to trigger or skip ads.

Acceptable use

Don't copy, modify, scrape, resell or redistribute the game, its puzzles, word lists, artwork, music or code; interfere with its operation or our providers' systems; or use it unlawfully. Sharing your results with the built-in share button is welcome.

Ownership

The game and its contents, including the Squid Words name and the squid character, belong to Literally Games Ltd or its licensors. Third-party components are used under their own licences.

No warranty and liability

• The game is provided "as is". We don't promise it will always be available, error-free or that every word list entry is correct.
• To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of saved progress. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

Our Privacy Policy explains what data the game uses.

Changes and law

We may update these terms by posting a new version here; continuing to play means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without removing any mandatory protections of the country where you live.
